Earlier this month, our Vice President, Allison Horton, launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program as a way for Search Solution Executive to support charities that matter to our team.
February is national heart month, so we decided to support The American Heart Association (AHA) – the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke.
Our Business Development Leader, Connor Walsh, is especially connected to the AHA.
“I’m extremely appreciative to be a part of this initiative and I’m even more proud that this month we chose to support the American Heart Association (AHA). I haven’t told many people this, but my grandfather passed away from heart disease when I was just 9 days old. It was extremely hard for my mom to celebrate the birth of a new child and then immediately have to mourn her father.” Walsh reveals.
Heart disease is the number one cause of death for both men and women in the United States and oftentimes the symptoms of a heart attack go unrecognized.
“We chose to support the AHA because of their amazing work in the community, and their mission is something people can strongly relate to.” Horton expresses. “We hope that everyone will consider the prominent presence that heart disease has within our nation and take action with us.”
Over one-third of all donations made to AHA are spent on life-saving research and public health education. Join Search Solution Executive in the fight against heart disease and stroke by donating using the link below.
